ReplyDeleteI think i found a typo in the constitution, or in the printed copies of the yellow book. Is it suppose to be spelled chusing? Sect 4. #1 Page423

ReplyDeleteThere are actually a few misspellings in the US Constitution. "Chusing", however, was simply an alternate spelling of "Choosing" that was considered acceptable in the late 1700's.
Most notably, the framers misspelled Pennsylvania. (They only used one 'n')
