Homework 1.4 (Assigned 9/12)

1.  Read through the United States' Constitution. (pg. 421-430, Woll)

2.  Student Created Declarations:  Turn your break-up letter into a formal declaration using the same format that Jefferson used when drafting the Declaration of Independence.  Be prepared to share in class.

    I think i found a typo in the constitution, or in the printed copies of the yellow book. Is it suppose to be spelled chusing? Sect 4. #1 Page423

    There are actually a few misspellings in the US Constitution. "Chusing", however, was simply an alternate spelling of "Choosing" that was considered acceptable in the late 1700's.

    Most notably, the framers misspelled Pennsylvania. (They only used one 'n')
